Hummus can be a good replacement for mayonnaise when there’s an egg intolerance or allergy.

It’s an ideal food for vegetarians because it contains full of calcium thanks to sesame, polyunsaturated fatty acids thanks to hazelnuts, the vitamine C of lemon, and the sulfur and anti-oxidants of garlic. If you spread humus on a rice toast then you get all the essential proteins.

Ingredients

250 gr chick peas
juice of half lemon
3 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp of sesame puree
1/2 tsp of hazelnut puree
3 small bits of garlic (approx. 3 mm2)
pinch of salt

Instructions

Mix all ingredients altogether.
