Quiche GAPS
Monday 30 th September 2013This is a modified recipe of the Quiche Lorraine recipe to do it GAPS friendly. I’ve been inspired by the blog “Health, Home & Happiness”.
gluten-free, Full GAPS diet.
Ingredients:
Quiche crust:
150 gr. almond powder
25 gr. lard
1 large egg
1 pinch of basilic
1 pinch of salt
Filling:
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
optionally: 50 gr fermented cream
choose:
* 100 gr. chopped meat or bacon (optional)
* onions, leeks, etc
* olives, oregano, etc.
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200 ºCMIx all the ingredients to do the crust. Mix almond powder with salt, basilic and lard using your fingers. Then, add egg and mix again.
Graise a mold for pie.
Spread the mixture of the crust on the mold.
MIx all the ingredients for the filling. Pour it into the crust.
Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
